I am a PHP/MySQL developer in need of some Javascript help. I am trying to make a website with a bunch of images and text on it that can be dragged around. I want a 'snap to grid function' but i want it so that feature can be disabled with a simple tick of a tickbox. The most important part of this project is the ability to record the position of the elements once they have been moved.
For example: I want it so i can drag an image (or text) 10 pixels left, click a button to save the data (to a text file? whatever works for you) then refresh the page to see the new position of the element is where i just dragged it to.
There will be occasional work for exceptional work.
